Council 75 has a dedicated professional staff that coordinates Corrections-related issues for the union in Oregon. In addition, the more than three thousand Oregon AFSCME-represented Corrections members benefit from the national influence and power of AFSCME International, which maintains its own AFSCME Corrections United (ACU) network of affiliate unions of more than eighty thousand members in Corrections career professions.

In Oregon, staff Representative Tim Woolery is the Council 75 Corrections Coordinator and lead worker who is responsible for assisting in the oversight of the 1,850 members in the AFSCME Security unit and the 1,325 members in the AFSCME Security Plus units, with the help of his fellow AFSCME Corrections Council 75 Staff Representatives. A United States Marine Corps Veteran also with four years of law enforcement experience before gaining 18 years of experience as an Oregon DOC Security employee prior to working full-time for the union in 2006. Woolery is based in the Salem office and also directly represents the AFSCME Corrections members at Coffee Creek Correctional Facility, Columbia River Correctional Institution, Oregon State Penitentiary Minimum, Central Distribution Center, the other DOC Central Offices including the Dome Building and the Security Plus members who work at the Oregon State Correctional Institution as well as those who work at Linn and Douglas County Parole Offices.

Roger Ware joined Oregon AFSCME as a Staff Representative in early 2014 in newly added position in our Pendleton office. Prior to joining our team, he was a Correctiona Oficer for about 17 years with the Oregon Department of Correction and worked at EOCI and SCCI.  His main assignment is to provide coverage for the Security and Security Plus members who work at the Eastern Oregon Correctional Institution and the Two Rivers Correctional Institution as well as the Statewide Transport Unit.
